Accordingly, nearly 142 hectares out of a total area of 163 hectares of rice-growing land were converted to land use purposes to implement the Hiep Hoa Urban Area project (Hiep Hoa ward, Bien Hoa city).

This project has a total area of over 293 hectares with an expected population of 31,600 people. The total investment of the project is over 72,000 billion VND, of which the investment in project construction is over 54,000 billion VND, the rest is compensation, support and resettlement costs.

According to the investment policy decision, the project aims to build a new urban area, a modern low-density service complex, in harmony with nature, while aiming to develop a sustainable tourist area.

Dong Nai allows investors to implement the project within 12 years from the date of approval. The implementation process can be divided into 5 investment phases.

In addition to the above project, in September 2024, the People's Committee of Dong Nai province also issued a decision approving the detailed urban planning project at a scale of 1/500 of the Commercial Center in Hiep Hoa ward with an area of 12 hectares and a total investment of more than 6,000 billion VND. This project was proposed for investment by a Japanese investor.
