On June 9, Ms. Nguyen Thi Hang - Director of Hang Moon Herbal Import-Export Company was invited to attend the 5th Conference to honor advanced models of Nghe An Provincial Women's Union, period 2020 - 2025.
"Emulation is patriotism, patriotism requires emulation" is one of the key tasks effectively implemented by the Provincial Women's Union with many meaningful emulation movements in the past 5 years. From these movements, the Women's Union at all levels in Nghe An has supported capacity building for 156 women business owners, 801 women business owners, 29 women cooperative managers; supported training, consulting, connection, access to information and markets for 570 women's businesses; supported the establishment of 41 new women's businesses.
Chairwoman of the Women's Union of Do Luong district, Thai Thi Hien, said that at this conference, Do Luong district had 2 typical examples honored, representing many examples of dynamic women who strive to develop the economy .
Ms. Nguyen Thi Hang said that with the desire to bring consumers pure, natural, safe and benign herbal products, while preserving and promoting traditions and conserving local medicinal plants, she built Hang Moon Herbal Import-Export Company in the direction of processing OCOP standard products from local agricultural products. Up to now, after 3 years, the company has stably produced 7 products that have achieved 3-star OCOP certification at the provincial level.
The company's agricultural processing and trading process has contributed to creating stable jobs for 8 local workers, with an average income of 5 million VND/month. They are also women's union members of Lam Son commune, who actively participate in local movements.
Currently, in addition to OCOP standard products, Ms. Nguyen Thi Hang has just researched and launched a new product processed from purple perilla.
Purple perilla is a familiar plant for people not only in Lam Son. The company has stably produced many products extracted from the essence of perilla such as perilla bud tea, perilla herbal shampoo and bath oil, perilla ginseng mask cream, etc. In addition, because the company's purple perilla is grown organically, without using chemicals, combined with special plant varieties, we want to bring to customers a line of perilla filter bags with a different, rich, pure taste, meeting the needs of consumers for health care.
In early June 2025, Hang Moon Herbal Import-Export Company launched purple perilla tea bags. This is the company's plan and strategy to exploit the value of herbs and expand products from purple perilla.
Ms. Thai Thi Hien - President of the Women's Union of Do Luong district said that Ms. Nguyen Thi Hang, a member of the Women's Union of Lam Son commune (Do Luong) grew up and built the company from the patriotic emulation movements implemented by the unions at all levels. And up to now, not only Ms. Hang, but also on the economic development journey of members in Do Luong district, there has always been the companionship and support of the Women's Union at all levels. Summarizing the patriotic emulation movement for the period 2020 - 2025, Ms. Nguyen Thi Hang is one of two typical individuals of Do Luong district to be commended. Currently, the district union has been orienting and supporting members to develop the economy towards green, clean, and safe agriculture associated with deep processing, enhancing the value of agricultural products that Hang Moon Herbal Import-Export Company is implementing.
