Devote more resources to supporting rural industry

Identifying rural industrial establishments as an important part of the private economic sector, playing a major role in creating jobs, increasing income for workers, helping to mobilize resources for investment in socio-economic development in the area, in recent times, the Provincial People's Council and People's Committee have issued many mechanisms and policies to create motivation to promote rural industrial development.

The wooden ceramic incense burner tower product of Hai Au Construction and Production Company Limited, Thu Do village, An Nhan commune, Vinh Tuong district was recognized as a typical national rural industrial product in 2024.

In the period 2014 - 2020, the provincial budget has allocated over 27 billion VND to implement local industrial promotion contents. In 2024 alone, the province has appraised 50 projects to support the construction of technical demonstration models; technology transfer and application of advanced machinery and equipment, scientific and technical advances in industrial and handicraft production and the construction of pilot demonstration models on the application of clean production.

Of these, 32 projects that met the regulations were allocated nearly 5 billion VND in support. At the same time, the appraisal allocated 6 projects for marketing investment; production management - finance - accounting - human resources with a budget of 180 million VND; support for improving management capacity, developing typical rural industrial products.

In 2025, the province will focus on supporting the improvement of management capacity, consulting activities, training, seminars and conferences; supporting the construction of technical demonstration models, technology transfer, application of advanced machinery, scientific and technical advances and development of typical rural industrial products through organizing the selection of typical rural industrial products; participating in domestic and foreign fairs and exhibitions with a budget of more than 2.3 billion VND.

Thanks to industrial promotion programs, many rural industrial establishments in the area have more capital, boldly investing in equipment and machinery to expand production scale, increase competitiveness in domestic and foreign markets, and create more jobs and income for many rural workers.

In 2024, 4 product sets of Hai Au Construction and Production Co., Ltd., Ion One Vietnam Water Joint Stock Company, Tam Dao Bee Joint Stock Company and 2 products of Minh Anh High-Tech Development Co., Ltd., Tam Dao Mushroom Cooperative were recognized as typical national rural industrial products.
