Dak Lak promotes the development of cultural industries

The Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee has recently issued Official Dispatch No. 8042/UBND-KGVX on the development of cultural industries. In particular, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism (DCT) is assigned to preside over and proactively coordinate with relevant agencies and units, based on the direction of the Prime Minister in Directive No. 30/CT-TTg dated August 29, 2024, to advise the Provincial People's Committee to direct the implementation.

According to Directive No. 30/CT-TTg dated August 29, 2024, the Prime Minister requested the People's Committees of provinces and cities to promote the role and responsibility of Party committees and authorities at all levels, especially leaders, in proactively developing cultural industries with potential and advantages in the locality and developing priority investment plans with focus and key points. After 5 years, Dak Lak province has focused on implementing and successfully completing the tasks of developing cultural industries.

The process of implementing the development of cultural industry must focus on key points, promote local advantages, be suitable to the socio-economic conditions, security and defense in the province; at the same time, promote the image and people, contributing to protecting and promoting the cultural heritage of ethnic groups in the process of international exchange, integration and cooperation.

Awareness of all levels and sectors in Dak Lak province about cultural industry has been raised; many historical and cultural relics have been invested in to preserve and promote sustainable values associated with tourism development; many establishments and households producing and trading traditional craft villages have been invested in technology, expanded production scale, innovated product designs, met market demands, created jobs, increased income for workers, increased product competitiveness, etc. Thereby, contributing to building an increasingly developed people's life, creating conditions for organizations, businesses and individuals to participate in the development of cultural industry./.
