The 5th Congress of the Quang Nam Provincial Union of Friendship Organizations is scheduled to be held on November 26, 2024 in Tam Ky City. The Congress aims to continue to promote the role of a bridge for people-to-people diplomacy, promoting friendly cooperation between Quang Nam and international partners.
The conference focused on discussing and giving comments on the draft report on the results of activities for the 2019-2024 term and the direction and tasks for the 2024-2029 term; the project on the organization and personnel of the Executive Committee of the 5th term; the review report of the Executive Committee, the report on the results of activities of the Inspection Committee of the Provincial Union of Friendship Organizations for the 2019-2024 term.
The contents related to the congress program, delegate composition; organization, propaganda, facilities and funding were also carefully discussed to organize a successful congress.
At the conference, Ms. Nguyen Thi Thuy Trang - Deputy Director of the Department of Foreign Affairs was also elected to the Executive Committee of the 4th term; then Ms. Trang was elected to hold the position of Vice President of the Provincial Union of Friendship Organizations, term IV.
Concluding the conference, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Anh Tuan requested the Executive Committee and the standing agency of the Provincial Union of Friendship Organizations to receive and complete draft documents, personnel plans, and related content to ensure the congress is a success.
