Integrated 10th grade entrance score

The Ho Chi Minh City Departmentof Education and Training said that candidates admitted to specialized 10th grade and integrated 10th grade will submit their admission application to the school they were admitted to from June 25 to 29. If the candidate does not submit their admission application, the school will remove their name from the list of admitted students.

According to the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training, the total number of candidates registered for the 10th grade entrance exam this year is 98,681.

According to statistics on the 10th grade entrance exam scores in 2024 in Ho Chi Minh City, foreign language is the subject with the most 10 points among the three 10th grade exam subjects. Of these, 1,707 candidates achieved a perfect score in foreign language. The number of candidates achieving a score of 9 - 9.75 is 14,732.

In math, although there were many mixed opinions that the exam was "long and difficult", 49 candidates still scored 10 points. Although literature did not have a 10 point score, the number of exams with below average scores was the lowest among the three subjects.

Admission scores for specialized grade 10 are calculated as follows :

Admission score = Literature exam score + Foreign language exam score + Math exam score + Specialized subject exam score x 2

Admission scores for the integrated program are as follows:

- For students studying the integrated English program at secondary school level in Ho Chi Minh City:

Admission score = Literature exam score + Foreign language exam score + Math exam score + Average score of integrated English program

- For students who do not study the integrated English program at secondary school level in Ho Chi Minh City:

Admission score = Literature exam score + Foreign language exam score + Math exam score + Integrated English exam score

Only consider candidates who are eligible to take the entrance exam, have taken all required exams, have not violated the entrance exam regulations and have not scored 0 on any exam.

10-7: Announcement of standard scores for entering grade 10

The Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training said it is expected to announce the benchmark scores for regular grade 10 and the list of candidates admitted to grade 10 for the 2024-2025 school year on July 10.

From July 11 to August 1, 2024: Candidates admitted to grade 10 will usually submit their admission application to the high school they were admitted to. If the candidate does not submit their admission application, the school will remove their name from the admission list.

Also according to the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training, after high schools receive applications for admission to grade 10, the Department will review the situation and decide on the second round of additional recruitment.
