Accordingly, the authorities forcibly demolished the level 4 house of Ms. D.TX’s household on plot 4b of land on cadastral map sheet 4. This household had been fully supported by competent state agencies in compensation procedures when the State acquired land. However, this household did not agree to hand over the land for the State to implement the project, forcing the local government to apply compulsory enforcement measures.
Ms. D.TX’s household is the only one out of 23 households subject to the first phase of forced land acquisition at Bien Hoa 1 Industrial Park that must be forced to take action. Previously, on July 15 and 16, 22 households agreed to voluntarily dismantle the construction and hand over the site after receiving the notice of the forced acquisition decision.
Mr. Pham Duc Hoang, Vice Chairman of Tran Bien Ward People's Committee, said that in the 50-hectare area prioritized for site clearance of Bien Hoa 1 Industrial Park, the site handover has been completed, and currently 35/355 households have not yet handed over the site. In the coming days, the working group of Tran Bien Ward and the Dong Nai Province Land Fund Development Center, Bien Hoa branch, will continue to propagate and mobilize the site handover along with completing legal procedures to issue a decision on enforcement, and soon complete the site clearance for households located in Bien Hoa 1 Industrial Park to serve the implementation of the Project to Convert Bien Hoa 1 Industrial Park into an Urban - Commercial - Service Area and improve the environment in the coming time.
