Ideas for exhibition space
The exhibition of national achievements on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of National Day is scheduled to take place from August 28 to September 5 at the National Exhibition Center (Dong Anh, Hanoi ). The exhibition theme is "80 years of the journey of independence, freedom, and happiness".
The exhibition displays the outstanding achievements of our country in 80 years of construction and development in various fields, especially key areas such as: Industry - technology; Investment - trade; Agriculture - rural areas; Security - defense; Foreign affairs; Education, Health; Culture, sports and tourism.
At the same time, introduce Vietnamese culture - Country - People with 4,000 years of cultural tradition; the rich cultural diversity of 54 ethnic groups; the abundance of resources, products of the three regions and outstanding architectural works past and present across the country...
According to the design idea from the representative of the University of Industrial Fine Arts, the exhibition area of the Ministry of Education and Training at the exhibition is about 400 square meters wide, located near the exhibition booths of the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Ethnic Minorities and Religions, the State Bank, and the Ministry of Construction.
With the idea of "Education is the root" - the exhibition space is designed with the image of a large tree in the middle, surrounded by images of educational achievements through different periods including: The period before August 1945 - 1954; 1954 - 1975; 1975 - 1986 and from 1986 - present with corresponding themes.
With nearly 70 years of establishment and development, Associate Professor Dr. Huynh Quyet Thang - Director of Hanoi University of Science and Technology said that the work of collecting and gathering valuable documents for display is extremely important. Through that, viewers will feel the stature and significance of the achievements of the Education sector throughout the development process of the country over the past 80 years.
In addition, representatives from Hue University, Danang University, Phenikaa University, University of Transport, University of Mining and Geology, Ho Chi Minh City University of Agriculture and Forestry, VinUni University... also emphasized the arrangement of displaying models applying artificial intelligence (AI) technology to affirm new advances in research and teaching.

With many years of experience working in the cultural sector in Nam Dinh province (old), Director of the Department of Education and Training of Ninh Binh Nguyen Tien Dung said that the three provinces before the merger, including Ha Nam, Nam Dinh, Ninh Binh, all had a very large museum system containing many valuable documents, images, and artifacts about the 80-year process of building and developing the country as well as the previous stages.
Ninh Binh is also home to over 100-year-old high schools such as Le Hong Phong High School for the Gifted and Nguyen Khuyen B High School. These schools all have traditional rooms with many documents and artifacts from the period of fighting and resistance to save the country. The images of teachers preparing lesson plans and teaching in the basement are very meaningful.
"In the near future, we will propose to the Department of Culture and Sports of Ninh Binh province and send staff to coordinate to present those valuable artifacts through a contact point to send to the exhibition organizing committee of the Ministry of Education and Training for selection," said Mr. Nguyen Tien Dung.
In addition, according to Mr. Nguyen Tien Dung, attention must be paid to "keeping" viewers in the exhibition booth for a long time. In the evening, the lighting system and spotlights around this area must be arranged to create highlights; the decoration and arrangement of flower pots and ornamental plants must also be calculated to be harmonious; the sound must be combined with songs about the education sector of different periods.
At each historical period, we need to balance the number of images and exhibits appropriately. In the most recent period up to today, the artifacts that can be introduced to the public can be robot models, robots using AI technology are also good and practical suggestions.
"The guidance and organization of traffic for viewers must be planned specifically. In particular, when Party and State leaders come to visit, the reception team needs to be trained and rehearsed thoroughly in advance to introduce fully, concisely and highlight the achievements of the education sector over the past 80 years," added Director of the Department of Education and Training of Ninh Binh, Nguyen Tien Dung.
As the leading locality in the country in terms of education scale, Ms. Vuong Huong Giang - Deputy Director of the Hanoi Department of Education and Training said that it is necessary to collect images to highlight the first opening ceremony of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam on September 5, 1945; recreating the image of "Popular Education" classes opened in Hanoi or teachers and students during the resistance war.
With a positive, proactive and responsible working spirit, Deputy Minister of Education and Training Le Tan Dung highly appreciated the sincere and specific comments from the delegates attending the meeting. In particular, in the context of the education sector making changes and integrating internationally, the selection of related images and documents must be carefully calculated to highlight these achievements. In the coming time, units and localities need to continue to collect and send documents and artifacts for the leaders of the Ministry of Education and Training to study and select for display at the exhibition.
