Here, on holidays or weekends, hundreds of tourists from all over the place come to visit and have fun, contributing to the development of the local economy. However, the large number of tourists also makes the security and order situation here potentially complicated.

Promoting the core role in ensuring security and order, Son Hiep Commune Police have proactively done a good job of grasping the situation and promptly advising the local Party Committee and government. Mobilizing the strength of the people to participate in this work has been focused on by the Commune Police. In recent times, the Commune Police have focused on consolidating and maintaining the model of "People's Patrol Team" to support the police force in patrolling the area, including the Ta Gu waterfall tourist site. Here, the patrol team reminds people and tourists to maintain public hygiene, pay attention to protecting property, prevent crimes of theft and mingling; and take measures to ensure safety when coming to bathe in the stream and have fun. Major Nguyen Thanh Dong - Head of Son Hiep Commune Police said that thanks to promoting patrolling and propaganda work, in recent years, there have been no incidents of security and order loss here.
As an area with a large population of ethnic minorities, along with focusing on building self-management models for security and order, the Commune Police also promote the role of village elders and prestigious people. Not only do they regularly go to the area to meet with village elders to discuss the situation and promptly grasp the thoughts and aspirations of the people, but through that, the Commune Police also take the opportunity to propagate the State's policies and guidelines to the people. In recent years, the team of village elders and prestigious people have actively coordinated with the police force to propagate and mobilize people to strictly comply with the law and build a great national unity bloc. Thanks to that, the security and order situation in the area has always been maintained stably, and people's awareness of law observance has been increasingly enhanced.
According to Mr. Nguyen Doan Dat - Vice Chairman of Son Hiep Commune People's Committee, in recent times, the propaganda and mobilization work for people to participate in the movement of All people protecting national security has been carried out very effectively by the coordinated forces. Thanks to that, the people's awareness of self-defense, self-management, and participation in the fight against crime has been increasingly raised; Security and order in the area remain stable. In 2024, there were no criminal cases in the commune, only 1 case of law violation; people feel secure in doing business, developing the economy, eliminating hunger and reducing poverty. Maintaining political security is also an important premise for the locality to promote socio-economic development, building new rural areas, and gradually improving the lives of people in the area.
