Protect the legitimate rights and interests of workers
It can be said that the Vinh Tan 4 Thermal Power Plant Trade Union plays an important role in protecting the legitimate and legal rights and interests of workers. With the main role of representing and protecting the legitimate rights and interests of workers, such as participating in negotiating and signing collective labor agreements, resolving labor disputes; supervising the implementation of labor laws; participating in building labor policies; providing legal support to workers if they have a need; caring for the spiritual and material life of workers; and connecting harmonious labor relations. Therefore, the factory trade union is an important institution, not only protecting the rights of workers but also contributing to building harmonious, stable and progressive labor relations in the factory.


Recently, there have been 11 opinions and recommendations from employees related to policies and participation in the factory's production and business plan. Of these, 10 opinions were answered through a dialogue at the workplace between the Union and the Factory's Professionals, as well as 1 opinion was presented at the 2025 factory-level employee representative conference on March 28, 2025.


Create an equal working environment
Previously, through a regular dialogue conference with workers at Vinh Tan 4 Thermal Power Plant, according to the Regulations on implementing democracy at the grassroots level in the workplace of Vietnam Electricity Group, according to Decision No. 538/QD-EVN, the factory's Trade Union received 29 opinions and recommendations from workers. The opinions and recommendations of workers were compiled from departments and workshops related to the following areas: labor and wages, movements, facilities at the workplace and accommodation, working tools, personal protective equipment, etc. The parties frankly exchanged, focused on discussions and were satisfactorily answered by the Board of Directors. For some recommendations of workers that need time to be resolved, the Board of Directors received them, assigned the leaders of related departments and workshops to advise, implement, and report to the Board of Directors to respond to the results to workers as soon as possible.
Mr. Vu Thanh Hai, Party Secretary and Director of Vinh Tan 4 Thermal Power Plant, highly appreciated the purpose and significance of the regular dialogue conference as a bridge between the factory's leaders and workers, promptly exchanging contents according to regulations, issues of mutual concern, promptly and thoroughly answering the aspirations of workers to build a united and strong collective, successfully completing the production and business plan tasks assigned by Vietnam Electricity Group.
Through that, the parties discussed issues such as: The production and business situation of the factory; the implementation of labor contracts, collective labor agreements, labor regulations, internal management regulations; working conditions of employees. Mr. Tran Ngoc Huong, Party Committee member, Deputy Director, Chairman of the Trade Union of Vinh Tan 4 Thermal Power Plant said: "The factory director has paid attention to and coordinated the organization of regular dialogue conferences, promptly answered opinions and recommendations so that employees can work with peace of mind and complete their assigned tasks well. In the coming time, the Trade Union will continue to further promote the role of protecting the legitimate and legal rights and interests of employees, promote the Regulations on implementing democracy at the grassroots level in Vietnam Electricity Group, create conditions for employees to clearly understand their rights and obligations, the factory Trade Union is truly a bridge between employees and employers".
Through the dialogue conferences, employers and employees have reached a high level of consensus on the working contents and publicly announced the results of the dialogue at the workplace. The two sides agreed to coordinate more closely in the next dialogue sessions, focusing on promoting the implementation of the Grassroots Democracy Regulations at the workplace of employees to achieve greater efficiency, helping employees promptly grasp the production and business situation of the Group and the factory to understand, join hands, make efforts to overcome all difficulties, comply with the rules, regulations and procedures of the Group and the factory, work closely with the factory leaders to successfully complete the tasks assigned by the Group, contributing to building the factory to grow stronger and stronger, and improving the material and spiritual life of employees.
