To celebrate International Women's Day on March 8 and the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Germany, the German Embassy is holding a writing contest for women aged 16-26. The prize is to become a German Ambassador for a day.

According to the German Embassy, the competition is not only an opportunity for Vietnamese women to demonstrate their writing talents, but also an opportunity to empower and encourage the generation of future female leaders by becoming German Ambassadors for a day.
The competition focused on the topics "How to continue strengthening the relationship between Germany and Vietnam?", and "If you were an Ambassador for a day, what would you do to strengthen diplomatic relations between Germany and Vietnam?".
Participants, regardless of region, are expected to use creativity, critical thinking and forward-looking vision to present their ideas.
The writer can consider topics such as the diverse Vietnam-Germany relationship in many areas such as cultural exchange, economic cooperation areas, potential for cooperation in the field of education, opportunities and challenges in the political field...
The article should put forward creative ideas to strengthen and develop cooperation between the two countries in these areas.
Entries are required to be sent to [email protected] by February 28.
The jury will select the 3 best articles and announce the awards in early March.
The winner will be given the privilege of spending one day in March with German Ambassador Helga Margarete Barth. The prize winner will be able to accompany Ambassador Barth to events and attend internal embassy meetings.
The program is designed to give winners the opportunity to experience first-hand a typical work day in the life of a female leader.
