Launched with the Galaxy S24 series, the innovative features of Galaxy AI have been provided by Samsung completely free of charge. Previously, there were many speculations that Samsung could start charging for this AI feature package by the end of 2025. However, the latest information has officially completely denied the above rumors.
Accordingly, the Korean tech giant confirmed to Android Police that all Galaxy AI features built into Galaxy phones will be free for life.

This includes a host of useful tools like Live Translate, Note Assist, Zoom Nightography, Audio Eraser, Browse Assist, Generative Wallpapers, and many other default features on Galaxy phones.
Meanwhile, Google has taken a different approach, offering advanced AI features as paid subscriptions like Gemini AI Pro and Ultra. While some Gemini features are still free for Galaxy users, more advanced features often require payment.
However, during the recent Galaxy Z Fold7 and Z Flip7 launch event, Google introduced a series of impressive new Gemini AI features specifically for foldable devices and the Galaxy Watch 8 series.
Notably, Google also announced that both foldable phones will have free access to a 6-month subscription to Google AI Pro. This subscription is built on the Gemini 2.5 Pro platform and integrates the latest Veo 3 Fast technology, promising to bring users a superior AI experience.
