Pink Scarf Volunteer Program to celebrate the 76th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day

In order to carry out the moral principles of "When drinking water, remember its source" and "Repaying gratitude", on the morning of July 27, the Provincial Youth Center organized the "Volunteer Pink Scarf" program to commemorate the 76th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2023) in Lien Son commune, Gia Vien district.

Attending the program were representatives of Gia Vien District Youth Union, leaders of Lien Son commune, youth union members and students in the commune.

In a sacred and respectful atmosphere, delegates offered incense and flowers at the Martyrs' Memorial of Lien Son commune, expressing their respect and deep gratitude to the heroic martyrs who heroically sacrificed their lives in the struggle for national liberation, national reunification, and the construction and protection of the Fatherland.

Today's young generation vows to study hard, practice, and become worthy future masters of the country, inheriting and further promoting the achievements that their fathers and brothers have achieved.

Next, within the framework of the program, many meaningful activities took place such as: visiting, giving gifts, and showing gratitude to 5 policy families in Lien Son commune with a total amount of 3.5 million VND; donating entertainment equipment and sports equipment worth 16 million VND to the residential area of hamlet 4, Lien Son commune.

In particular, students also participated in the "2023 Summer Skills Camp" with many useful contents: Propagating and disseminating knowledge on preventing drowning and injuries in children; exchanging and learning, enhancing the spirit of solidarity, helping and supporting each other through games...

"Pink scarf volunteer" is an annual program organized by the Provincial Youth Center to show gratitude to the heroic martyrs and those with meritorious services, andto educate the young generation about revolutionary traditions, pride and deep patriotism. Thereby, creating a favorable environment for children to practice virtue, train their talents, and contribute to building Ninh Binh homeland to become increasingly prosperous.
