Pay 113 million VND to customers participating in Credit Security and Cardholder Security insurance

- On the morning of July 4, Agricultural Bank Insurance Joint Stock Company (ABIC) Thang Long Branch coordinated with Vietnam Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development ( Agribank ) Lang Son Branch to pay benefits to customers who borrowed capital at Agribank and participated in insurance but unfortunately encountered risks.

The customer who was paid was Mr. Tran Duc Thanh (born in 1987), address in Dong Kinh ward. Previously, in August 2024, Mr. Thanh's family borrowed capital from Agribank Lang Son Branch in the amount of VND 500 million to serve production. After being advised by bank staff, he participated in Credit Security Insurance and Cardholder Security Insurance.

In December 2024, he unfortunately had a work accident, causing a 21% disability. Immediately after completing the procedure, ABIC proceeded to pay Mr. Thanh insurance benefits of 113 million VND (according to ABIC's payment regulations), of which, payment of benefits for participating in Credit Security was 107 million VND and payment of benefits for participating in Cardholder Security was 6 million VND.

The quick and transparent payment of insurance benefits has helped Mr. Tran Duc Thanh's family reduce some of the financial burden of the loan, helping customers quickly overcome difficulties and stabilize their lives.
