On February 2, at Phuoc Buu Lake, the People's Committee of Xuyen Moc District ( Ba Ria - Vung Tau ) organized the 5th traditional dragon boat race, attracting thousands of people and tourists to watch and cheer.
Dragon boats prepare to depart
There were 13 teams participating in the traditional dragon boat race, with nearly 200 athletes. In the end, the Phuoc Buu Town dragon boat team won first prize. The Phuoc Thuan Commune dragon boat team won second prize and Hoa Binh Commune won third prize. The organizing committee also awarded consolation prizes and grassroots prizes to the remaining dragon boat teams.

Ms. Le Thi Trang Dai, Chairwoman of the People's Committee of Xuyen Moc District, said that the traditional dragon boat racing tournament was organized by the district for the 5th time.
The race attracted thousands of people and tourists to watch and cheer.
"This is a traditional sporting event typical of the locality. The participating teams all demonstrated professionalism. Before the tournament took place, the Organizing Committee arranged a schedule and time for the teams to practice. The race is also an attractive cultural and sporting event that attracts tourists to the locality," said Ms. Dai.
