Math question makes all 4 contestants of Road to Olympia give up

This is a difficult puzzle because the contestant only has 20 seconds to think and answer. Try your hand at it and see how smart you are.

During the finishing round of contestant Thien Phuc, the organizers of Road to Olympia asked the question:

"The badminton team has 10 women and 7 men, including two top players, Nguyen Tien Minh (man) and Vu Thi Trang (woman). People need to form a badminton team of 3 women and 4 men to compete internationally from the above team. Ask how many ways are there to form a team so that only one of these two famous players is present in the team?"

After listening to the answer, Thien Phuc could not come up with an answer. Then the other 3 contestants also had to give up on this tricky question.
