Tran Thuy Linh: Valedictorian of math major at Tran Phu High School for the Gifted ( Hai Phong )
Tran Thuy Linh is a former student of class 9D1 at Lac Vien Secondary School (Hai Phong). Her total admission score in the entrance exam for grade 10 of the specialized math class at Tran Phu High School for the Gifted was 47.25/50 points, including the score of the 3 general subjects with coefficient 1 and the specialized math exam score with coefficient 2.
In the 3 general exams, Thuy Linh got perfect scores in math and English; 9.25 points in literature. In the specialized math exam, she got 9 points.
Mr. Le Xuan Tung - a math tutor in Hai Phong - was the one who directly helped Thuy Linh prepare for the entrance exam to the 10th grade math school. Mr. Tung commented that Thuy Linh has special qualities. For girls who are good at math, they usually do the exercises in a "slow but steady" style, while boys do the exercises faster.
But Linh is an exception, she has a very impressive speed in completing exercises. While many students can only solve 2-3 problems, Linh can solve 8-9 problems. Linh is good at both geometry and arithmetic, this is a rare balance for a female student at this age.
During the process of teaching math to Linh, Mr. Tung saw in her a high level of concentration, diligence, and passion for learning to the point of forgetting about time. Whenever she had her work corrected and understood new problems, Linh's eyes sparkled, showing excitement and joy. The initiative, the desire to learn, and the joy in the learning process are very easy to see in Linh.
In particular, Linh has a very admirable spirit of self-study. There are many lessons that the teacher has not assigned but she has proactively done them in advance. Even teacher Tung is sometimes surprised and does not understand how a girl of Linh's age can arrange her time so well to be able to study all subjects and also complete a large amount of specialized math homework.
Every time he looked at Linh's exercise book, Mr. Tung was surprised by the precise and detailed solutions, clearly showing the seriousness and effort invested in doing the exercises. Linh not only did math quickly and completed a large amount of exercises, but also did the exercises very carefully and with high accuracy.
In addition, Linh also has a creative way of doing math, sometimes different from the way the teacher does it. She has a unique way of thinking, but also very confident. Having a good student like Linh makes teacher Tung feel excited and gives him new perspectives.

In grade 8, I won third prize in the provincial English competition for grade 9 students. In grade 9, I won first prize in the provincial English competition.

Ha Anh is also very good at studying natural sciences. She has a good way of thinking in studying and is also very hard-working, diligent, and spends a lot of time on self-study. Teachers give her a lot of materials for self-study, but it seems that for her, the materials are always... lacking. The student often quickly goes to see her teachers to borrow new materials.
In the context of artificial intelligence increasingly posing challenges to foreign language majors, Mr. Quang Vinh helped his students have a realistic perspective.
Through that, Ha Anh understands that she will have to face many challenges created by AI. However, the female student believes that AI will not be able to grasp emotions, create soft accents in the use of language like humans. Therefore, she is still confident in pursuing foreign language learning and will flexibly find ways to adapt to fluctuations.
