Indonesia:

Black pepper: Indonesian black pepper prices increased by USD 2.44 to USD 7,307/ton.

White pepper: Muntok white pepper price increased by 1.86 USD to 10,155 USD/ton.

The market is showing slight volatility, with major producing countries such as Indonesia recording significant increases for both black and white pepper. This could indicate that demand from the market is increasing.

Meanwhile, pepper prices in Malaysia, Brazil and Vietnam remain stable. In particular, the prices of 500g/l and 550g/l black pepper in Vietnam are being maintained at 6,240 USD/ton and 6,370 USD/ton, respectively.

As global supply shows signs of being limited and import demand from major markets remains high, these factors create a solid foundation for pepper prices to continue to rise, especially in the context of major producing countries such as Indonesia and Brazil showing signs of price increases.

With export prices remaining stable and the psychology of hoarding goods waiting for higher prices, Vietnam's domestic pepper prices may continue to maintain a slight increase in the coming time.
