Import-export turnover through Bac Phong Sinh - Ly Hoa Customs Clearance increased by more than 33% compared to the same period in 2024

Since the beginning of the year, import and export activities through the Bac Phong Sinh (Vietnam) - Ly Hoa (China) customs clearance at the Hoanh Mo (Vietnam) - Dong Trung (China) border gate pair have continued to record many positive signals, contributing positively to the economic development of the border area.

According to statistics from Bac Phong Sinh Border Gate Customs, as of August 22, 2025, the import-export turnover through this customs clearance reached 55.6 million USD with 2,285 declarations. Compared to the same period in 2024, this result increased by 33.02% in turnover, although the number of declarations decreased by 13.92%. Particularly from August 1 to August 24, 2025, the turnover reached 7.99 million USD (an increase of nearly 60% compared to the previous month), the number of declarations reached 271 (an increase of more than 30%).

Official goods reached 2.16 million USD with 50 declarations, of which imported goods were mainly footwear and consumer goods; exported goods included kaolin, frozen seafood, and sawn acacia wood. Notably, border residents' exports continued to play a key role, reaching 5.83 million USD with 221 declarations, an increase of more than 82% in turnover. Abundant items such as: frozen seafood, duckweed, sedge, votive paper, longan, handicrafts from rattan and bamboo, etc.

Since the beginning of the year, there have been more than 69,200 import and export vehicles carrying import and export goods.

Since the beginning of the year, 41 enterprises have carried out import-export procedures, an increase of 3 enterprises compared to the same period in 2024. Along with that, means of transport and the flow of people entering and exiting the country have increased sharply with more than 69,200 vehicles entering and exiting the country, nearly 3 times higher than the same period; the number of people entering and exiting the country has reached over 1,000, including both Vietnamese and Chinese citizens.
