The total import-export turnover of goods through Bac Phong Sinh border gate reached 37.28 million USD with 1,616 declarations, up 6.9% in turnover but down 23.12% in the number of declarations compared to the same period in 2024. Of which, the official import-export turnover reached 10 million USD with 302 declarations, down sharply 46.25% in turnover and down 41.7% in the number of declarations. In contrast, import-export goods through the form of border residents recorded impressive growth, reaching 27.28 million USD with 1,314 declarations, up 67.7% in turnover although the number of declarations still decreased by 17.05%.
The structure of export goods remains stable with key items such as frozen seafood (fish), agricultural products such as duckweed, sedge, pepper, dried longan, dried lotus seeds, dried fish and anchovies. Meanwhile, import goods are mainly footwear and grocery items for consumption.
Regarding state budget collection, revenue reached nearly VND 5 billion, up 24% over the same period, reaching 27.7% of the assigned target (VND 18 billion) and 24.93% of the target (VND 20 billion). Along with that, total fee collection by mid-June reached VND 2,050 million, equal to 51.9% of the plan, equivalent to 95% over the same period last year. Of which, border gate infrastructure fee reached VND 1,591 million (53% of the plan), service fee reached VND 458 million (48.3% of the plan), especially increasing by 11% over the same period last year.
The Bac Phong Sinh Border Gate Management Board said that the collection of fees and charges is always closely monitored, transparent, and in accordance with procedures. At the same time, the unit proactively coordinates with functional forces to create favorable conditions for businesses and border residents to quickly carry out import-export procedures, ensuring compliance with the law.
With the clear recovery of import and export and the active participation of functional forces, the Bac Phong Sinh (Vietnam) - Ly Hoa (China) Customs Clearance is expected to continue to contribute positively to the bilateral trade turnover between Vietnam and China in the second half of 2025.
