Singer Ho Ngoc Ha edits apology post after receiving backlash

Ho Ngoc Ha said that her absence from the A80 performances was not because of "running shows", but because of personal family matters.

“I don’t run shows here, my family has some real issues. I also like to have fun and appear at meaningful times like this,” the female singer wrote.

According to the reporter's investigation, on the latest update of the female singer's Instagram page, she and her husband Kim Ly attended a relative's wedding in Sweden. Many viewers believe that this may be the reason why the 8X singer did not participate in the performance on National Day, September 2. However, she only mentioned family matters and did not explain clearly.

The singer also said that her parents were people who went through war to reach peace . She shared that her father "is one of the most energetic wounded soldiers in my heart", her mother was orphaned at the age of 9 because her grandmother died in the war. "My mother also became the strongest mother I can feel", Ho Ngoc Ha said.

Ho Ngoc Ha said that being born and raised in a military environment helped her "understand the spirit of resilience and deep love expressed not only through words and actions but also through the process of dedication and construction".

Previously, on the evening of September 1, Ho Ngoc Ha's fanpage posted an apology for missing the performance at the National Day ceremony on September 2: "Due to a pre-arranged schedule in Europe, Ha missed the invitation to perform at the grand ceremony on the morning of September 2 at Ba Dinh Square and several other events. Celebrating the 80th anniversary of Vietnam's National Day on September 2."

After being criticized by the audience, the female singer edited the post to "Celebrating the 80th anniversary of Vietnam National Day September 2nd".
