At the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Trinh Thi Thuy said: In recent days, storm No. 3 and its circulation have caused heavy rain over a large area in the North, especially in the mountainous and midland provinces of the North, causing many provinces and cities to have heavy rain causing flooding, flash floods, landslides, causing serious consequences and damage to life and property, directly affecting people's lives and production.

Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Trinh Thi Thuy, on behalf of the leadership and all officials, civil servants, public employees and workers of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, presented 1.5 billion VND (phase 1) to support people affected by storms and floods to the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front.

Responding to the call of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front to support people affected by storm No. 3; at the same time promoting the tradition of "mutual love", "the healthy leaves cover the torn leaves" of the Vietnamese people and the tradition of affection of the Culture, Sports and Tourism sector, on September 11, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism organized a fundraising campaign to support people affected by storm No. 3 for all cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers of units under the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism with a minimum support level of 01 day's salary.

Through the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism transferred a donation of 1.5 billion VND (phase 1), expressing the sympathy and sharing of the leadership and all officials, civil servants, employees and workers of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism to the people affected by storms and floods.

Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Trinh Thi Thuy presented 1.5 billion VND (phase 1) to support people affected by storms and floods to the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front.

"I hope that the gift from the leadership and all officials, civil servants, public employees and workers of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism will help share some of the loss with the people, both spiritually and materially," Deputy Minister Trinh Thi Thuy expressed.

Also according to Deputy Minister Trinh Thi Thuy, in order to continue responding to the call of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism recently held a meeting to agree on the policy of implementing art programs to raise funds and support people in the northern provinces and cities that suffered heavy losses due to storms and floods. The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism assigned the Department of Performing Arts to coordinate and direct 12 art units of the Ministry to develop a plan to organize 6 art programs.

Through art programs, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism wishes to share the pain and loss with people severely affected by storm No. 3 (storm Yagi) and mobilize the kind hearts and generosity of Vietnamese people to support our compatriots to overcome the consequences of storms and floods.
