The training course was attended by speakers and guests from the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics, and many students from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics (participating in person) and the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Foreign Affairs (participating online).
Speaking at the opening of the training course, Ms. Nguyen Dieu Ha, Acting Head of Training and Recruitment, Department of Organization and Personnel, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, said that the first training course held in 2024 received positive feedback, which was a source of inspiration and motivation for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Vietnam-Australia Center to continue organizing the second course.

Ms. Nguyen Dieu Ha emphasized that the training course aims to improve the capacity of officials of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Foreign Affairs and the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics in developing recommendations for speeches by senior leaders. The speeches must take into account foreign policy and relations with partners in the context of Vietnam's increasingly deep international integration.

Speaking at the opening of the Training Course, Ms. Cathy McWilliam, Acting Counselor, Australian Embassy in Vietnam, emphasized the significance of the Training Course in Australia's efforts to support Vietnam in improving the capacity of officials in various fields.

According to Ms. Cathy McWilliam, communication skills are very important, conveying policies vividly to the audience requires a lot of skills. The training course is a great opportunity for students to learn and exchange skills in building recommendations for senior leaders.
The training course took place in a lively atmosphere of exchange between students and speakers, with lively practice exercises, through which each student had the opportunity to improve their skills and knowledge to "transform" and become more confident in the process of building speeches for senior leaders.
