National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man signed and issued Resolution No. 1260 of the National Assembly Standing Committee on adding one more Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development .

Accordingly, the National Assembly Standing Committee resolved to increase the number of deputy ministers by 1 so that the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development has 6 deputy ministers to meet the requirements of mobilizing, arranging and assigning cadres to prepare for the Provincial Party Congress and the 14th National Congress of the Party.
The resolution also stated that, after the 14th National Congress of the Party, the total number of Deputy Ministers of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development shall not exceed 5.
This Resolution takes effect from October 25.
The current leadership of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development has 6 people, including Minister Le Minh Hoan and 5 Deputy Ministers: Phung Duc Tien, Tran Thanh Nam, Nguyen Hoang Hiep, Nguyen Quoc Tri, Hoang Trung.
