Bao Yen: Creating jobs for more than 9,500 local workers

In the period 2021 - 2025, Bao Yen district created new jobs for 9,592 workers.

Accordingly, Bao Yen district has many solutions to increase the rate of workers with stable jobs such as opening 84 vocational training classes; consulting and supporting labor export to markets in Korea, Japan, Taiwan (China)... At the same time, implementing a number of policies to support production development, building and developing value chains in the agricultural production sector to exploit strengths in the cinnamon, banana, mulberry, tea industries; preferential credit policies to solve jobs for poor and near-poor households... Thereby, creating stable jobs, increasing income for local people, contributing to reducing the poverty rate.

In the 2021 - 2025 period, Bao Yen district reduced 3,515 poor households (equivalent to a reduction of 16.6%), the average annual poverty reduction rate reached 4.17%, exceeding the period target by 4.12%; the number of near-poor households decreased by 2,683 households, exceeding the period target by 34.15%.
