Handing over houses to households under the Program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in Ward 5

STO - On the morning of June 16, the Steering Committee of the Program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in Ward 5, Soc Trang City (Soc Trang) coordinated with the Soc Trang Association to organize a house handover ceremony for households in the ward. Attending the handover ceremony were Ms. Nguyen Thi Nhu Thuy - Chairwoman of the Soc Trang Association; leaders of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Soc Trang City.

In order to carry out the movement of joining hands to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses, the Steering Committee of the Program to Eliminate Temporary and Dilapidated Houses in Ward 5 mobilized the Association of Fellow Countrymen of Soc Trang province to support 300 million VND to build 4 new houses and repair 2 houses for households who are beneficiaries of the program. At the house handover ceremony, Ms. Nguyen Thi Nhu Thuy sent her congratulations to the households with new houses. At the same time, she hoped that after having a stable place to live, the households would actively work and produce, developing their family economy .

Representatives of the households thanked the local Party Committee, government and the volunteers for their care and concern. They also promised to preserve and maintain the house well and strive to stabilize their lives.
