YouTube invites international creators to promote Vietnamese tourism

On the occasion of the 10th anniversary of its operation in Vietnam, a YouTube representative said that it is actively cooperating with international content creators to promote the country's image. This is part of the platform's long-term strategy to bring Vietnam's cultural values ​​and beautiful landscapes closer to international friends.

On the evening of December 3, YouTube celebrated 10 years of operation in Vietnam, affirming its role as an effective tourism promotion tool. Ms. Mukpim Anantachai, Director of YouTube Partnerships in Vietnam and Thailand, emphasized that campaigns such as "Di de yeu" and "Google Adventure Vietnam" have created a foundation for YouTube to continue investing in new projects. Notably, more than 50% of viewers of Vietnam tourism content on YouTube come from abroad, proving the country's global appeal.

Responding to a question from Thanh Nien Newspaper reporter, Ms. Mukpim shared that YouTube will invite international content creators to Vietnam to record the beauty and culture through their personal perspectives. Key markets are the US, Europe, Japan and South Korea. "We cooperate with the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism not only to bring content to the platform but also to build strategies and creative ideas suitable for the international market," she shared.

These contents not only introduce famous landscapes such as Ha Long Bay, Hoi An, Phu Quoc but also highlight Vietnamese culture, cuisine and people. This strategy aims to promote tourism and encourage the participation of businesses and people in sustainable activities.

YouTube Shorts, with its short content, is becoming a useful tool to capture special moments such as sunsets or street food, helping Vietnam reach international audiences quickly and effectively. In addition, the YouTube Shopping Affiliate program creates opportunities to promote Vietnamese products and culture globally.

With more than 50 million users in Vietnam, YouTube is not only a hosting platform but also helps the tourism industry connect with international audiences. Integrating artificial intelligence to personalize content and support high-quality video production, YouTube promises to open up sustainable development opportunities for Vietnamese tourism.
