VnExpress Marathon Ho Chi Minh City Midnight 2024 will be sponsored by Vietnam Prosperity Joint Stock Commercial Bank - VPBank .
The second Ho Chi Minh City Night Run will return under the name VPBank VnExpress Marathon Ho Chi Minh City Midnight. Vietnam Prosperity Joint Stock Commercial Bank - VPBank is the strategic partner and co-organizer of the tournament in the city named after Uncle Ho. The official race date is set for March 3, 2024. The Organizing Committee will open the registration portal early and in the afternoon on January 2, 2024.
VPBank representative said that running is a culture, a strategy to promote the spirit of "for a prosperous Vietnam" that the bank pursues. Therefore, in recent years, this unit has organized 11 major running races for the community. Accompanying the Ho Chi Minh City night run, VPBank wants to continue pursuing and spreading this goal more widely and deeply in the community.

Previously, on August 25, 2023, Vietnam Prosperity Joint Stock Commercial Bank VPBank and FPT Online Services Joint Stock Company (FPT Online) - the operator of the VnExpress Marathon series of races, signed a cooperation agreement. Accordingly, VnExpress Marathon is the professional consulting and operating unit for the VPBank Hanoi International Marathon (VPIM) taking place in October, thanks to its leading technology and experience in organizing professional races.
VnExpress Marathon is the largest running tournament system in Vietnam. In 2023, the unit set foot in eight localities with seven marathons and one aquathlon, attracting nearly 75,000 runners to participate. Of which, the Ho Chi Minh City night race is the opening tournament, taking place for the first time in February 2023, attracting more than 10,000 athletes. The event with an AIMS standard running route, brings runners to conquer beautiful streets, through iconic buildings and enjoy the vibrant night atmosphere of Ho Chi Minh City.
This year, when returning to the city named after Uncle Ho, with the companionship of VPBank, VnExpress Marathon Ho Chi Minh City Midnight will have many new features, promising to create an emotional festival for sports lovers. "The cooperation with VPBank will contribute to raising the level of marathon races to a larger scale and higher level in the future," affirmed a representative of VnExpress Marathon.
