In the context of low vaccination rates for children and adults in Vietnam, especially measles vaccines, at the conference responding to "World Immunization Week 2024", on August 22, the Ministry of Health called on parents to raise their sense of responsibility to fully vaccinate their children on schedule for their children's health. Consider vaccination not only the right and responsibility of each individual but also a responsibility to the community.
Responding to the policy of the Ministry of Health and continuing efforts to increase the vaccination coverage rate for the community, on August 23, the VNVC Vaccination Center System continued to put into operation the VNVC Sunrise City Vaccination Center in District 7, integrating the VIP Vaccination Area at 25 Nguyen Huu Tho, Tan Hung Ward.
Representatives of the world's leading vaccine and pharmaceutical companies Sanofi, Abbott, Pfizer, MSD, Takeda... and VNVC's strategic partners were present to congratulate the opening event of VNVC Sunrise City District 7.
Located at a convenient traffic connection location connecting neighboring districts and the southern gateway of Ho Chi Minh City as well as the Western provinces, VNVC Sunrise City District 7 not only creates conditions for people here and neighboring areas to enjoy high-quality, safe, and reasonably priced vaccination services, but also brings a classy, time-saving vaccination experience at the VIP Vaccination Area.
VNVC currently has 8 VIP vaccination areas and is a high-class examination and vaccination area with new investment in modern facilities and luxurious, comfortable interiors.
The center is invested with high-class, luxurious and modern equipment with full functional areas such as service area, examination area, injection area, play area, baby feeding room, diaper changing room with many free utilities such as wifi, clean drinking water, wet tissues, diapers for babies... With a large area of up to 1,000m2, nearly 20 examination tables and injection tables, VNVC Sunrise City District 7 is capable of serving nearly 500 visitors per day.
The birth of VNVC Sunrise City Vaccination Center in District 7 once again demonstrates VNVC's tireless efforts to ensure rapid but sustainable development, bringing more modern and safe vaccination centers closer to the people, while affirming its position as the leading large vaccination system in Vietnam, specializing in the field of vaccination and high expertise in vaccination safety.
VNVC invests in building a system of hundreds of cold storages and cold chains for preserving vaccines that meet international GSP standards nationally.
Since its establishment in June 2017, VNVC has focused on investing heavily in building professional and systematic foundations such as human resources, facilities, vaccination safety procedures, especially the cold storage system and vaccine cold chain recognized as meeting international GSP standards. VNVC is one of the first few vaccination center systems in Vietnam to build and develop an international quality cold-chain vaccine cold chain network, capable of simultaneously storing up to 400 million doses of vaccine at standard temperatures of 2-8 degrees Celsius.
VNVC is also currently the vaccination system with the largest team of highly qualified professional staff in the country, with more than 3,000 doctors, nearly 4,000 nurses with full Vaccination Safety certificates from the Ministry of Health and more than 3,000 professional medical staff, regularly trained in professional knowledge, expertise, and high-level customer service skills.
VNVC is a pioneer in Vietnam in collaborating with pharmaceutical companies to bring in and deploy many new and effective vaccines to prevent diseases for people.
As a comprehensive and important strategic partner of many major vaccine companies in the world such as MSD, Sanofi Pasteur, AstraZeneca, Pfizer, GSK..., VNVC has the right to directly negotiate and directly import large quantities of genuine vaccines, even storing them for many years and bringing back in bringing to Vietnam many types of vaccines to prevent diseases for children and adults.
In May 2024, VNVC successfully deployed the new generation of meningococcal group B vaccine in Vietnam. In the coming time, VNVC will continue to coordinate with vaccine companies to deploy pneumococcal 23, dengue fever and herpes zoster vaccines, providing disease prevention opportunities for children and adults, keeping pace with vaccination programs of developed countries.
In recent years, the rapid development in both quality and quantity of VNVC vaccination centers has contributed significantly to improving the vaccination coverage rate for children and adults in Vietnam, including remote areas. In particular, VNVC has contributed to increasing the influenza vaccination rate in Vietnam from 4% in 2022 to 9% in 2023 according to a report by Eplus Research.
