Vietnam Infrastructure Development and Finance Investment Corporation (VIDIFI) has just sent a document to Road Management Area I (Department of Roads, Ministry of Construction ) regarding traffic organization for motorbikes and motorbikes on National Highway 5.
active, VIDIFI recommends that Road Management Area I report to the Vietnam Road Administration to approve the lane and traffic separation plan for motorbikes and scooters. Along with not being allowed to travel on lane number 1 at present, motorbikes and scooters will not be allowed to travel on lane number 2 (from the median strip).
Motorbikes and motorbikes are only allowed to travel on lane 3 (close to the roadside) on National Highway 5, from km 13+880 to km 77+830 (through the old provinces of Hung Yen and Hai Duong ).
Especially for the Nhu Quynh market underpass area ( Hung Yen ), the road surface currently has only 2 lanes, near the market and residential area, so traffic needs to be reorganized synchronously. VIDIFI proposes to repair and expand the road surface, renovate the slope, add traffic warning devices, signs, convex mirrors, paint lines, etc. to enhance traffic safety before dividing all lanes for cars and motorbikes.
National Highway 5 now has a complete system of lane signs for each vehicle type and lane signs for each vehicle type or group of vehicles.
After the Vietnam Road Administration approves the adjustment plan, VIDIFI will update the content of the sign. At the same time, coordinate with relevant agencies to promote propaganda so that people and vehicles participate in traffic complying with regulations.
The traffic organization adjustment aims to contribute to ensuring traffic safety and reducing accidents on National Highway 5.
