Foreign exchange rates on March 4, 2025: Banks slightly increase USD and CNY

DNVN - On the morning of March 4, the exchange rate between Vietnamese Dong (VND) and US Dollar (USD) and Chinese Yuan (CNY) at some banks recorded a slight increase.

Foreign exchange price on March 2, 2025: USD increased strongly, holding steady above the 107 point threshold

At 8:29 a.m., Vietcombank announced the USD exchange rate at 25,420 - 25,780 VND/USD (buy - sell), 50 VND higher than the morning of March 3. Similarly, BIDV also raised the USD price by 20 VND, currently reaching 25,390 - 25,750 VND/USD (buy - sell).

The State Bank adjusted the central exchange rate down by 3 VND, down to 24,755 VND/USD. According to the +/-5% band, the ceiling exchange rate today is 25,993 VND/USD while the floor rate is 23,517 VND/USD. The reference exchange rate at the State Bank's transaction office is at 23,568 - 25,942 VND/USD (buy - sell).

Regarding the CNY, Vietcombank adjusted the exchange rate up by 6 VND, bringing the listed rate to 3,459 - 3,570 VND/CNY (buy - sell). Meanwhile, BIDV also raised the exchange rate of this currency by 2 VND, currently recording 3,472 - 3,568 VND/CNY (buy - sell).
