Reviewing documents of the Party Congress of the Department of Construction

Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Manh Tuan chaired the meeting.

Attending were the Standing members of the Provincial Party Committee and leaders of the Party Committee's advisory agencies; representatives of the Standing Committee and the Party Executive Committee of the Department of Construction.

The Party Congress of the Department of Construction will carry out two contents: Evaluate the results of the 2020-2025 term and set out directions, goals, and tasks for the 2025-2030 term; contribute comments to the documents of the higher-level Party Congress.

The documents of the Department Party Congress include: Draft Political Report for the 2020-2025 term submitted to the 2025-2030 term Congress; Draft Report reviewing the leadership and direction of the Department Party Executive Committee for the 2020-2025 term (before the merger). Up to now, the Department of Construction Party Committee has completed the congresses of 11 affiliated Party cells, fully preparing the conditions for organizing the Department Party Congress. The Draft Political Report of the Department Party Executive Committee identifies 16 goals and tasks to be implemented in the 2025-2030 term.

The Standing Committee of the Party Committee and representatives of the Party Committee's staff and support agencies attended the meeting.

Commenting on the documents of the Party Congress of the Department of Construction, delegates suggested clarifying the leadership role of the Party Committee of the Department in the results achieved in each assigned sector; clarifying the advantages, frankly pointing out the limitations, causes and summarizing and drawing lessons. Regarding the direction, goals, targets, tasks and solutions for the 2025 - 2030 term, it is necessary to closely forecast the situation, set out scientific , synchronous, comprehensive and highly feasible goals and targets...

Representative of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of the Department of Construction presented the contents of the documents of the Party Congress of the Department.

Concluding the meeting, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Manh Tuan emphasized that this congress is different from previous congresses as it is in a new space and context of development. Therefore, the requirements of the congress must be led and directed by the Party Committee to be implemented in accordance with the Party's regulations and principles and in accordance with practical conditions.

The Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested the Department's Party Committee to absorb comments and continue to perfect documents in the direction of clearly identifying the context of the situation, identifying strengths and key orientations; the documents of the congress need to be refined in the direction of having a comprehensive vision in the new development space, concise content, easy to understand, easy to remember, easy to implement, easy to check, providing many solutions to complete the goals of the term, closely following the functions and tasks of the Department.

Comrade Nguyen Manh Tuan emphasized: Due to the urgent time and high requirements, the Party Committee of the Department needs to prepare conditions to organize the congress quickly, while ensuring quality, in accordance with the regulations of the Central and the province; the orientation for the new term must have a vision, closely following the development orientation of the province and the country.
