UK - The ranking of "20 most colorful destinations in the world" recently announced by Time Out magazine includes Ho Chi Minh City.

"Color is one of the factors that influences many tourists' choice of summer vacation destination," the magazine quoted analysis by experts at Nottingham-based design firm Berlew Design Studio.

Berlew conducted some analysis of the brilliance of the world's top 125 travel destinations.

Using “computer vision technology,” experts analyzed high-resolution images taken by street photographers to identify the five most prominent colors in each destination.

From there, score the brilliance of each place to choose the 20 most colorful spots in the world.

Ho Chi Minh City is one of three Asian representatives appearing on the list, along with Jodhpur and Mumbai of India.

Ho Chi Minh City impresses with its French-style buildings, often light yellow or white, combined with the red of tiles and bricks, creating a beauty that is both ancient and luxurious.

In addition, traditional markets with colorful goods, brightly lit streets and green patches of trees also contribute to the richness and liveliness of the city's picture, Time Out commented.

Topping Time Out 's list is Burano, a small island in the Venetian region of Italy, famous for its brightly colored houses. It's like a living painting with colorful houses.
