On July 13, the School of Business and Management, Vietnam National University, Hanoi held a ceremony to celebrate its 30th anniversary (May 13, 1995 - July 13, 2025). At the ceremony, the school received the Second Class Labor Medal from the President for the collective and the Certificate of Merit from the Prime Minister for individuals with outstanding achievements.
In his congratulatory speech to the School of Business and Management (HSB), Deputy Minister of Education and Training Hoang Minh Son said that this is a very special training facility under the Hanoi National University, established in 1995, just 2 years after the establishment of Hanoi National University.
From the Faculty of Business Administration established in 1995 with a modest initial scale, focusing mainly on postgraduate training and short-term training programs; up to now, after 30 years of formation and development, the School of Business Administration - Vietnam National University, Hanoi has gradually grown, asserting its own position, pioneering in Vietnam National University, Hanoi, and is a prestigious address for training at all 3 levels of universityeducation : bachelor, master, doctorate.

The school is constantly expanding its training scale, diversifying its training programs, gradually perfecting its program system at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels, associated with new fields such as non-traditional security management, sustainable development management, management models adapted to the context of digital transformation, digital economy, and green economy.
The school has trained more than 15,000 students for the country. Students trained by the school are high-quality human resources, contributing to the cause of socio-economic development, national defense, security, and sustainable development of the country. In addition, the school also trains and fosters knowledge on sustainable development management, security management, and non-traditional security management for thousands of cadres of agencies, enterprises, the People's Army and the People's Police.
The School of Business and Management is always interested in promoting scientific research linked to practice. Many of the School's topics focus on interdisciplinary fields such as national governance, local governance, non-traditional security, digital transformation, sustainable development, contributing to supporting policy making and improving management efficiency at all levels.

The School’s international cooperation activities are increasingly expanding and effective, with many cooperative relationships with prestigious universities, research institutes and international organizations. Many training programs have been accredited according to international standards. The School of Management and Business is also internationally accredited by prestigious organizations.
With these achievements, the School of Business and Administration was honored to receive the Second Class Labor Medal and many other noble awards from the President.
On behalf of the leaders of the Ministry of Education and Training, the Deputy Minister commended and highly appreciated the achievements the School has made over the past 30 years.
According to the Deputy Minister, these results were achieved thanks to the special attention of the Party and State, the effective support and assistance of the leaders of Hanoi City, schools and partner enterprises; the close and direct guidance of the leaders of Hanoi National University in all periods; but more importantly, it was the tireless contributions and dedication of the teachers and students of the School of Management and Business over the periods.

The Deputy Minister emphasized: The Party and State always identify education and training as the top national policy, one of three strategic breakthroughs, and the foundation for the development of science, technology and innovation - the key driving force for national development.
Today's world is transforming rapidly with profound and rapid changes in many aspects. The breakthrough development of science and technology, especially artificial intelligence, digital transformation, circular economy, digital economy... along with global challenges such as geopolitical issues, climate change, epidemics, non-traditional security... are posing urgent requirements for all countries, including Vietnam.
Our country is also entering a new period of development with the aspiration to become a developed, high-income country by 2045. The Party and State have many major policies to develop the country in a new era.
More than ever, large, key universities such as Hanoi National University (including member universities; schools under Hanoi National University such as the School of Business and Administration) need to continue to affirm their pioneering role - not only leading in innovation, but also having the responsibility to lead the system; not only developing themselves, but also spreading and creating influence for the whole society.
“We believe that, with its position, tradition, and solid foundation built by many generations, with solidarity, intelligence, and aspiration, the University will continue to achieve many successes in the future, making an important contribution to the overall development of Hanoi National University in particular, and the field of Vietnamese higher education in general,” Deputy Minister Hoang Minh Son expressed.
