Nearly 265 million VND given to orphaned female student

Representatives of Dan Tri newspaper and representatives of Dong Son ward government, Quang Tri have just presented nearly 265 million VND to Le Nu Khanh Linh (born 2007), in My Cuong residential group 1, a female student who is orphaned but still tries to excel in her studies.

Khanh Linh is the daughter of Ms. Le Thi T. (born in 1983). Since childhood, Linh lived with her grandparents, while her mother had to leave her hometown to earn a living. When Linh was 5 years old, Ms. T. met Mr. Ha Ngoc P., a gentle man who accepted her and her mother. Mr. P. always considered Linh as his own child and loved her very much. Since then, Linh has had a father and three younger siblings (Mr. P.'s children). Tragedy struck the family in 2020, when Mr. P. passed away from liver cancer. In 2024, her mother also passed away after a serious illness.

After her parents passed away, Khanh Linh lived with her elderly grandparents, while her three younger siblings were taken care of by an acquaintance in Ho Chi Minh City. This support will help Linh and her grandmother ease their difficulties in life, helping her continue her dream of going to university.

The entire amount was donated by Dan Tri readers and benefactors at home and abroad. Previously, a unit, after learning about Khanh Linh's situation, directly visited and donated 50 million VND to the family.
