The cause originated from an incident where a netizen posted information saying that a branch of this restaurant chain had just announced a recruitment for the position of waiter or waitress with a salary of 5,000 to 6,000 yuan (18.2 million VND to 21.8 million VND) with the request "candidates without a university degree, please do not bother".

Specific duties for this position include clearing tables and chairs, maintaining the cleanliness of the dining area, and serving customers enthusiastically and warmly.
In response to the "stormy" information, the restaurant representative recently responded. This person said that this was recruitment information proposed by the previous manager of the restaurant.
In fact, recruitment is not entirely based on qualifications, but also on work experience. However, university-educated employees will have more advantages when considering promotions.
"Currently, the restaurant has several waiters with university degrees. With this level of education, the opportunity for each employee to become a senior manager will be more favorable. Normally, it only takes 1 to 2 years for such employees to be promoted to the position of store manager," he said.
