Man United unexpectedly targets Calvert-Lewin
According to Sky Sports, Man United are considering recruiting striker Dominic Calvert-Lewin - whose contract with Everton has just expired. This is considered a "bargain" deal as the Red Devils do not have to pay any transfer fee, but it also has many potential risks.
Calvert-Lewin scored 71 goals in 272 games for Everton and scored four goals in 11 appearances for England. However, his long injury history has made many clubs wary. With a tight budget, coach Ruben Amorim may consider this a reasonable "gamble".
Previously, Man United spent 62.5 million pounds (about 80 million USD) to get striker Matheus Cunha from Wolves. In addition to Calvert-Lewin, they are also interested in Bryan Mbeumo and Ivan Toney - who currently plays for Al Ahli (Saudi Arabia). In the opposite direction, Marcus Rashford, Alejandro Garnacho, Jadon Sancho and Antony can be liquidated.
Juventus offer Sancho – Douglas Luiz exchange

Gyokeres rejects Saudi Arabia, only wants to go to Arsenal

A Bola newspaper reported that Sporting are now ready to negotiate with Arsenal on an installment basis, although they previously requested to receive the full 80 million euros (about 87 million USD) transfer fee upfront.
Man United may part ways with Rashford, Grealish is also not sure to stay at Man City

In the 2024 season, he helped Botafogo win both the Brazilian Serie A and the Copa Libertadores.
Arsenal ready to "break the bank" for Rodrygo
AS (Spain) reported that Arsenal is ready to spend nearly 78 million pounds (about 99.9 million USD) to break the contract between Rodrygo and Real Madrid. Coach Mikel Arteta sees the Brazilian player as an option to strengthen the attack and can be flexibly swapped with Bukayo Saka.
Chelsea ready to let 'unhappy' players go
Coach Enzo Maresca insists he will only retain players who truly want to contribute to Chelsea. The likes of Raheem Sterling, Joao Felix, Axel Disasi and Ben Chilwell – despite not being injured – have all been left out of the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup squad and will likely have to find new destinations.
In addition, Noni Madueke, Christopher Nkunku and Nicolas Jackson could also be released. “I have made it clear to the players that I only want to work with people who are happy and ready to fight. Anyone who is no longer motivated should leave,” Maresca shared.
Chelsea have signed a host of new players this summer, including Liam Delap, Joao Pedro, Dario Essugo, Jamie Gittens and Mamadou Sarr. Young talent Estevao is also expected to arrive in the next few days.
