Finnish Literature Week runs until July 20, with the main event celebrating the 80th anniversary of the first Moomin work, a classic series of children's comics and novels created by Finnish writer and illustrator Tove Jansson.
The opening work The Moomins and the Great Flood was released in 1945, opening a magical and poetic world , containing humane messages about family love, maturity and the desire to find a home.
During her career, Tove Jansson wrote 9 Moomin novels, including many famous ones such as Comet in Moominland, Finn Family Moomintroll, Moominvalley in November ...
In Vietnam, Kim Dong Publishing House has introduced the complete set of 9 outstanding works by Tove Jansson through 8 books, with translation by translator Vo Xuan Que and proofreading by Dr. Bui Viet Hoa.
Since The Sorcerer's Hat was first published in 2010, the Moomin series has become a close companion to many generations of young readers.

Finnish Literature Week does not stop at displaying paintings and books, but also has many interesting exchange and experience activities: reading books with Ms. Teija Norvanto, Wife of the Finnish Ambassador; reading Hello Ruby - Exploring the Internet World ; experiencing the craft of making a Moomin house after reading The Witch's Hat and launching the book The Last Mermaid - Echoes from the legend of the ocean ...
