Director Luong Dinh Dung returns with new horror film

After two years of preparation, director Luong Dinh Dung has just officially released his first horror film "Hortar Hill: The Return of the Black Heresy", bringing together a cast of many familiar and unfamiliar faces.

The film was written and directed by Luong Dinh Dung. The film opens with Bao (Nguyen Xuan Thang) dismantling and “modifying” an old car of unknown origin. However, this car is the medium that opens a series of strange phenomena, revealing a sealed evil force.

The story quickly takes a turn for the creepy when the ghost of a missing young girl returns to take revenge, but at the same time wreaks terror on innocent people.

Meanwhile, the official poster evokes a dark feeling with the image of red dolls hanging from an old tree, in the distance is a mysterious house in yellow light, below is a school of catfish.

After the psychological thrillers Cha cong con , Thanh pho ngu ngac and the action film 578 , director Luong Dinh Dung continues to innovate himself with the horror genre. He said that in more than 10 years of writing and making films, he has many horror stories, and Hill of Torture: The Black Heresy Returns is the first story he has made into a film.

The director admits that he is afraid of ghosts, but the more afraid he is, the more interested he is in exploring horror films based on stories he has heard in real life. In the context of Vietnamese horror films being released in theaters, he is confident in bringing new horror material, enough to attract the public.

Torture Hill: The Black Heresy Returns brings together a cast of many familiar faces: Yu Duong, Hua Vi Van, Be Quyen, and new face Nguyen Xuan Thang - champion of The Next Gentlemen 2024.

The film is scheduled to premiere on September 26.
