Bat Trang ancient village is about 5.2 hectares wide, hundreds of years old with 23 ancient houses, 16 family temples built with ancient Bat Trang bricks, is a place to preserve many traditional cultural features of the ancient craft village...

Bat Trang village is not only famous for its pottery, but also for its tradition of learning and respect for knowledge. The village is proud of its cultural celebrities, especially the sages, first-class scholars, and doctors.

After visiting, Mr. Yury Sigov (Russia) shared: "I am very impressed with this ancient village. The village reminds me of many old villages, especially because of the fresh air, ancient architecture and friendly people. All of these create an unforgettable impression."

Mr. Nguyen Viet Tien, working at Viet Tien Television Station (Canada) said: "I have been to Bat Trang several times and each time I feel moved as if I am going back in time to the past. Ancient relics such as Bat Trang Communal House, Van Chi, old houses, and the image of old people with white hair still diligently working on their craft, have left me with many deep impressions. I especially love the simplicity of Bat Trang pottery - not too sophisticated but with its own attractive features, very Bat Trang, very Vietnamese. Looking at the product, you can clearly feel the hands of the craftsman. Living in Canada for many years, I have always tried to promote the image of Vietnam, especially Bat Trang pottery, and this passion will remain with me forever."

Sharing with the delegation, Deputy Director of Hanoi Department of Tourism Tran Trung Hieu emphasized that the National Day celebration on September 2 is an opportunity for the capital's tourism industry to promote and tell stories about Hanoi's thousand-year-old cultural values.
