In the joyful atmosphere of the whole country celebrating the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025), the 80th anniversary of the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025) and the 65th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Cuba (December 2, 1960 - December 2, 2025), on August 28, in Hanoi, the Vietnam-Cuba Primary School was honored to welcome the Cuban Children's Art Troupe "La Colmenita" (Little Beehive) - the first children's art troupe to be honored by UNESCO as UNICEF Goodwill Ambassadors - to interact with teachers and students of the school.
Attending the event were representatives of the Cuban Embassy in Vietnam and members of the Cuban Children's Art Troupe "La Colmenita", Cuban teachers and students; teachers of the Board of Directors, teachers and many students of the Vietnam-Cuba Primary School.
At the exchange, representatives of Vietnamese and Cuban students expressed their joy and emotion at being able to connect, get to know and share with international friends. The innocent words and warm hugs clearly demonstrated the loyal and pure friendship - feelings originating from the hearts of children, without distance or borders.
The atmosphere was even more exciting with impressive and vibrant dance and singing performances by the Cuban Children's Art Troupe "La Colmenita", bringing the school's students joyful and energetic artistic experiences.

In response to that sentiment, the children of the Vietnam-Cuba Primary School performed special performances, sending warm greetings and close feelings to their little friends from Cuba. The bustling applause, eager eyes and innocent smiles created a warm and close atmosphere.
The meeting not only brought memorable moments of enjoying art, but also helped children of the two countries understand each other better, and bond more through melodies, dances and pure friendship. This is a clear demonstration of the special friendship between Vietnam and Cuba, which has been nurtured and passed on to today's young generation.

The art exchange has left a deep impression in the hearts of children of both countries. Through this activity, the young generation of Vietnam and Cuba will always follow in the footsteps of their predecessors, preserving and lighting the flame of solidarity, so that the Vietnam-Cuba friendship will forever be green and sustainable.
