On the afternoon of August 13, the film Ghost Bride held a press conference and officially introduced the film crew. Producer Hang Trinh and actors Rima Thanh Vy, JJ Krissanapoom, Cong Duong, Jun Vu... participated in the exchange with the media.

The introduction event of the movie Ghost Bride surprised the audience when the crew recreated the wedding ceremony in the movie between a Vietnamese bride and a Thai groom. At the event, the main actor couple also received many questions related to their roles as well as behind-the-scenes stories about their first collaboration.
According to Rima Thanh Vy, in her first time participating in a foreign cooperation film, she had certain worries. Rima revealed that her role in the film required her to speak Thai quite a lot, and before each scene, her co-stars gave her detailed instructions.

According to Rima, the scene where she is forced to eat bugs in the official trailer is not the scene that haunts her the most. The scene filmed in heavy rain when she lies in a hole in the ground, surrounded by many girls playing ghosts, scared her to the point of suffocation.
At that time, because she was so scared, she did not act at all and just lay there crying. Thanks to the encouragement of her co-stars, she was able to complete this scene.
For his part, JJ Krissanapoom said he was quite surprised by Rima Thanh Vy's acting ability. "There were scenes that required a lot of strength and emotion, but Rima still performed very well," JJ Krissanapoom shared.
Ghost Bride is inspired by the massacre of a family in Thailand. Not only exploiting the creepy spiritual element, the film also interweaves family drama, generational conflicts and the tragedy of a woman entering the world of the rich.

The film revolves around the story of Yen (Rima Thanh Vy), a Vietnamese girl who comes to Thailand to meet the family of her wealthy fiancé Bank (JJ Krissanapoom). Here, she unexpectedly encounters a bride ghost after trying on a traditional Thai wedding dress. From there, the dark secrets of her husband's family are gradually revealed.
Producer Hang Trinh is confident that the film will have a new way of telling the story, balancing both the story and cultural elements between the two countries.
Hang Trinh said that the film will be released simultaneously in Vietnam, Australia and New Zealand on August 29. In addition, the film has also reached an agreement to be released in the US, Canada, some Southeast Asian and South American countries. Particularly in the Thai market, this is a time of fierce competition so it is not easy to release. She and her crew hope that the film will be released in Thailand this year.
Ghost Bride officially premiered in Vietnam from August 29.
