Rodrygo is on Arsenal's radar

Arsenal adds assistant: Welcomes former Man United player

According to The Athletic, Gabriel Heinze has just officially joined Mikel Arteta's coaching staff at Arsenal as an assistant.

Prior to that, the former Man United defender spent nearly a decade coaching at Godoy Cruz, Argentinos Juniors, Velez Sarsfield, Atlanta United and Newell's Old Boys, mainly as head coach.

During his playing career, Heinze excelled as a left-back, and could play as a centre-back when needed, playing for big clubs such as PSG, Man United, Real Madrid, Marseille and AS Roma. He played 72 times for the Argentina national team, scoring 3 goals and retired in 2014.

Arsenal get green light from Real for Rodrygo

Sky Sports reported that Real Madrid are ready to negotiate for Rodrygo Goes to leave the Bernabéu if they receive a reasonable offer.

The striker, born in 2001, only started one match at the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup and played only 23 minutes in the last 3 matches. The relationship between Rodrygo and Real has been broken since the end of last season, and it seems that new coach Xabi Alonso does not consider him a key factor in the upcoming plan.

If he goes to Arsenal, Rodrygo will likely compete with compatriot Gabriel Martinelli on the left wing.

Chelsea continue to spend big to get Jamie Gittens

Chelsea officially recruit Jamie Gittens

Borussia Dortmund have confirmed Jamie Gittens will move to Chelsea this summer. The 20-year-old striker has signed a seven-year contract with the Blues and completed a medical while on the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup.

Although he cannot play immediately, Gittens is considered a strategic contract. Chelsea has to spend about 55 million pounds (70 million USD) for this deal.

Joining Dortmund from Man City in 2020, Gittens has played 107 matches and scored 17 goals for the black and yellow team.

Aaron Ramsey goes to Mexico to play

Former Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey has signed a one-year contract with Mexican club Pumas UNAM as a free agent.

Ramsey played 262 times and scored 40 goals for Arsenal at his peak, before moving to Juventus and Cardiff City. The 34-year-old Wales international is now hoping to find his groove again in the Mexican league.

Newcastle raises bid to buy Elanga

According to Sky Sports, Newcastle have increased their offer for Anthony Elanga from £45 million ($57 million) to £55 million ($70 million), after their first offer was rejected by Nottingham Forest.

The Swedish international is among coach Eddie Howe's top targets to improve his attacking ability on the wing in the new season.

Brentford welcome new player from Feyenoord

Brentford have signed midfielder Antoni Milambo from Feyenoord for a fee of around £15.4 million ($19.6 million) (including £3.4 million in add-ons and $4.3 million in performance fees).

The 20-year-old has signed a five-year deal and is expected to replace Christian Norgaard – who has just moved to Arsenal.

Milambo made his Feyenoord first team debut at the age of 16 and has been a standout performer for the Netherlands youth teams.
