The Women's Union of Quang Ngai province has just organized a workshop on "Sharing experiences and knowledge, maintaining, expanding, developing cooperatives and solutions to promote the development of cooperative models and cooperative groups managed by women in the province".

Attending the workshop were representatives of leaders of a number of departments, branches, localities, units, Women's Unions at all levels and female managers of cooperatives and cooperative groups in the province.

Quang Ngai province currently has 16 cooperatives managed by women, with nearly 400 members. Of these, 145 are female members, 48 ​​are on the management board; 6/16 cooperatives have members who are ethnic minorities.

In recent times, women's unions at all levels in Quang Ngai province have strengthened propaganda and mobilization activities for members and women to participate in collective economic models, cooperatives, and cooperative groups. Organized activities to support women in starting businesses, starting businesses, and promoting products. Provided training to improve the capacity of women participating in management at cooperatives and cooperative groups.

Strengthen the role and responsibility of departments, branches, sectors, local Party committees, authorities, relevant organizations and women's unions at all levels in implementing the Project "Supporting cooperatives managed by women, creating jobs for female workers by 2030", disseminating the Party's policies and preferential policies of the State on collective economic development. Exploit and promote resources to effectively promote the operation of cooperatives and cooperative groups managed by women and create more jobs for female workers in the province.

In addition, delegates also participated in exchanging and discussing financial, professional and technical support policies; Mobilizing women members to participate in the collective economy; Management skills to maintain and develop cooperatives and cooperative groups; Difficulties and obstacles in cooperative activities, and the issue of solving output for cooperative products... At the same time, proposing a number of solutions and orientations in the coming time, contributing to improving the efficiency of cooperative and cooperative group models managed by women in the province.
