Firefighting and rescue practice at KN Cam Lam Solar Power Plant

The Fire Fighting and Rescue Team of Region 4 under the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department (PCCC) and Rescue - Provincial Police recently coordinated with the KN Cam Lam Solar Power Plant (Tan An village, Cam An Bac commune, Cam Lam district) to organize a fire fighting and rescue drill. The drill was attended by officers, engineers, operators, security forces, the plant's Fire Fighting and Rescue Team, along with Cam An Bac Commune Police and professional Fire Fighting and Rescue Police forces.

A trapped person was rescued.

The hypothetical situation was built close to reality: A fire and explosion caused by an electrical short circuit in a warehouse, causing the fire to spread and trapping 3 people. As soon as the fire alarm sounded, the local fire fighting force quickly took steps to sound the alarm, cut off the power, use the fire water supply system, portable fire extinguishers, stretchers and first aid equipment to rescue the victims. The professional fire fighting force then arrived at the scene, deployed a high-pressure water spray team, and controlled the fire in a short time.

The training session took place safely and in accordance with procedures. The activity aims to improve fire and explosion response skills in high-risk environments such as power plants.
