On the occasion of the New Year 2025 and the Spring of At Ty, the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Thanh Hoa province respectfully send to the heroic Vietnamese mothers, war invalids, sick soldiers, families of martyrs, families with meritorious services to the country, compatriots, soldiers, cadres, party members, religious dignitaries, business community, children of Thanh Hoa homeland across the country and abroad; people from other provinces and foreigners living and working in Thanh Hoa our warmest greetings and best wishes.
In 2024, despite many difficulties and challenges; however, with the spirit of solidarity and efforts of the Party Committee, the government, the business community and the people of all ethnic groups in the province, the socio-economic situation of our province remains stable and continues to develop. The growth rate of gross regional domestic product (GRDP) is estimated at 12.16%, ranking second in the country; agriculture has developed quite comprehensively; many key industrial products have maintained stable production and increased output; goods exports have increased sharply; tourism activities have been vibrant, with a number of new products; the state budget revenue is estimated at 54,341 billion VND, the highest ever. Culture and society have made progress; key education and high-performance sports have remained in the leading group in the country; many major political and cultural events have been successfully organized, with strong influence, creating good effects in society; People's lives are cared for and improved. National defense and security are strengthened, social order and safety are ensured. The work of building and rectifying the Party and the political system has achieved positive results. With the achievements of many previous years and the results in 2024, a new position and strength have been created for our province to firmly enter a new era - "the era of national growth".
2025 is a year of special significance, the final year of the term of Party Congresses at all levels 2020-2025 and the Congress for the term 2025-2030. The Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province call on all levels, sectors, armed forces, business community, and people of all ethnic groups in the province to continue to promote the tradition of solidarity and revolution of the homeland; uphold the spirit of responsibility, dynamism, creativity, innovation, solidarity, unanimity, determination to successfully implement the goals and tasks of 2025 and the term 2020-2025, building Thanh Hoa into a rich, beautiful, civilized province, among the leading provinces in the country - a new growth pole in the North of the Fatherland.
