The three main activities agreed upon by both sides include:

Firstly, the seminar "Continuing to preserve and promote the friendship between Vietnam and Nepal" is scheduled to take place in October or November 2025, with the participation of about 50 delegates including scholars, businessmen and diplomats from both countries. The seminar will focus on discussing economic cooperation, investment, tourism, education and trade. Ambassador Dhan Bahadur Oli will lead the Nepalese delegation to attend this event.

Second, organize the Vietnam - Nepal Trade - Tourism Fair, scheduled to take place in October or November 2025, to introduce typical products and unique cultures of the two countries such as Vietnamese coffee, Nepalese tea, textiles, organic agricultural products... The Nepalese Embassy in Thailand is committed to mobilizing Nepalese businesses to participate in the event in Hanoi.

Third, organize a Nepali cultural and artistic performance program, scheduled to take place in October or November 2025 in Hanoi, including traditional dance performances, Sari and Daura Suruwal costumes, and typical Nepali folk performances by a Nepali art troupe.

Speaking at the meeting, Dr. Tran Anh Tuan emphasized that the series of activities to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Nepal is an opportunity for the Vietnamese people to experience the cultural quintessence of Nepal - the land of Mount Everest and the heart of Buddhism; at the same time, contributing to promoting economic, trade, tourism cooperation as well as friendship between the two nations.

During the working trip, the delegation also met and discussed with Mr. Pham Viet Hung, Vietnamese Ambassador to Thailand. Ambassador Pham Viet Hung affirmed that the Vietnamese Embassy in Thailand will accompany the series of commemorative activities, support procedures for the Nepalese art troupe to visit Vietnam, and connect with the Association of Overseas Vietnamese Entrepreneurs in Thailand to participate in related activities.

Through its activities, the Association continues to affirm the role of people-to-people diplomacy in promoting bilateral cooperation, while actively serving the revolution of streamlining the organizational apparatus, developing the socio-economy, and bringing Vietnam into an era of development and prosperity.
