According to the report of the Vietnam Union of Friendship Organizations , during his 5 years working in Vietnam, Ambassador Nazari and the Iranian Embassy in Vietnam have proactively organized many cultural and artistic exchange activities, contributing to enhancing understanding and connection between the two peoples. Typical examples include two consecutive Iranian Film Weeks (2024, 2025), the exhibition "Iranian Art Heritage - Cradle of Civilization" (2022), the exhibition "Colors and Patterns: The Road to Iranian Art" (2024)... The events introduce to the Vietnamese public the quintessence of Iranian culture, from cinema, photography to traditional handicrafts (carpets, hand-painted vases, carved and enameled copper plates...).

The Iranian Embassy in Vietnam has closely coordinated with the Vietnam Union of Friendship Organizations and the Vietnam - Iran Friendship Association to organize many people-to-people diplomacy activities, including the 50th Anniversary of the establishment of Vietnam - Iran diplomatic relations (August 4, 1973 - August 4, 2023). In particular, Ambassador Nazari connected the Iran Institute for Policy Management Studies (GPTT) as a new partner of the Vietnam Union of Friendship Organizations, thereby successfully organizing an online discussion with the theme "West and East Asia: Similarities and common interests".
Speaking at the ceremony, Chairman of the Vietnam Union of Friendship Organizations Phan Anh Son highly appreciated Ambassador Nazari's active support in people-to-people activities throughout his tenure. He emphasized that the Ambassador is a close and friendly person, always proactive in promoting initiatives to strengthen the connection between the people of the two countries, as well as between the Iranian Embassy in Vietnam and the Vietnam Union of Friendship Organizations. Many activities such as academic seminars, cultural and artistic exchanges, and tourism promotion have been implemented effectively.
Mr. Phan Anh Son also expressed his hope that the two sides will continue to organize programs to share information about the country, people of Iran and the potential for cooperation between Vietnam and Iran. He proposed to consider organizing a working trip of the Vietnam Union of Friendship Organizations and the Vietnam - Iran Friendship Association to Tehran in the near future. The awarding of the Medal this time, according to him, is a worthy recognition of Ambassador Nazari's dedication and persistent contributions to strengthening the people-to-people relations between Vietnam and Iran.

Expressing his honor at the award and affection that the Vietnam Union of Friendship Organizations has given him, Ambassador Ali Akbar Nazari said that his five-year term in Vietnam - longer than usual - was a period that left many special marks in his career. He emphasized that the relationship between the Iranian Embassy in Vietnam and the Vietnam Union of Friendship Organizations is built on the foundation of trust and practical cooperation, demonstrated through a series of cultural exchange programs, seminars and tourism promotion events.

Affirming that Vietnam always holds a special place in his heart, Ambassador Nazari said that no matter what position he holds, he will continue to contribute to strengthening and developing the friendly relations between the two countries. He expressed his wish to continue to cooperate with the Vietnam Union of Friendship Organizations in the coming time, and invited the leaders of the Union and the Vietnam - Iran Friendship Association to visit Tehran to further promote people-to-people cooperation between the two sides.
