At the reception, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister Bui Thanh Son highly appreciated the Ambassador's positive contributions to the development of relations between Vietnam and Iran in recent times, especially in organizing high-level delegation exchanges, promoting cooperation in economics , trade, cultural exchange, etc.
In the coming time, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister Bui Thanh Son suggested that the two countries continue to strengthen political trust, exchange delegations, promote economic cooperation, people-to-people exchanges, and support each other at international forums. In the immediate future, the two sides need to closely coordinate to prepare well for the meeting of the Joint Committee between the two countries, review the implementation of signed agreements, especially promote economic and trade cooperation, and soon increase the two-way trade turnover to 2 billion USD as agreed by the two countries' senior leaders.
Ambassador A. Nazari picked the leaders of the Party, State and Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Bui Thanh Son and the ministries and branches of Vietnam for their support and effective coordination with the Embassy in promoting bilateral relations. The Ambassador affirmed that in recent times, the two countries have organized many high-level delegation exchanges with practical and specific results, especially the visits to Iran by the Chairman of the National Assembly (August 2023) and Minister of Public Security To Lam (May 2023).
The Ambassador said that Vietnam and Iran have many similarities in culture and history, which are important premises to further enhance the effectiveness of cooperation in all aspects, especially in the fields of economy, trade and people-to-people exchange. The Ambassador emphasized that Iran always prioritizes promoting comprehensive cooperation with Vietnam, affirming that, in any role, it will continue to urge relevant Iranian agencies to closely coordinate with Vietnam to effectively implement cooperation activities and mechanisms between the two countries.

Ambassador A. Nazari affirmed that Vietnam has a very important role and voice in multilateral mechanisms, especially at the United Nations; thanks Vietnam for its fair and objective stance on developments in the Middle East. The Deputy Prime Minister and Minister shared the difficulties of the Iranian people and believed that, with a resilient spirit and will, Iran will quickly overcome challenges, recover and develop soon.
On this occasion, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister Bui Thanh Son delivered an invitation from President Luong Cuong to Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian to attend the signing ceremony of the United Nations Convention against Cybercrime on October 25-26 this year in Hanoi. Ambassador A. Nazari expressed his gratitude and affirmed that he will deliver the invitation to the Iranian President.
