Notice of extension of the deadline for receiving entries and adjustment of regulations on entries for the 2025 Electricity Saving Propaganda Contest

On April 14, 2025, in Hanoi, the Ministry of Industry and Trade held the launching ceremony of the 2025 Electricity Saving Propaganda Contest nationwide. The event is part of the annual activities of the Ministry of Industry and Trade to promote propaganda on economical and efficient use of energy, contributing to the implementation of national goals on energy saving, environmental protection and sustainable development.

According to the rules and regulations of the contest, the genres of works participating in the contest include: Skits, music or a combination of other art forms, produced and recorded in video form with each work lasting from 5 - 10 minutes.

Time to receive works from the launch date to before July 30, 2025. Expected time to summarize and award prizes is September 2025.

However, due to the arrangement and merger of administrative units and some other objective factors, the Organizing Committee would like to announce: The deadline for receiving entries for the contest has been postponed to August 30, 2025, so that units and authors have more time to compose, edit, and complete their works; at the same time, widely spread the content and meaning of the contest to people across the country.

The Organizing Committee also adjusted the duration of the entries (videos) from 3-10 minutes, creating conditions for all readers to create content suitable for new media trends.
